Really it is a for sh!t day.
~ I have a funky blistery looking thing going on inside my mouth, then on my upper lip and now what looks like my neck. My lymph nodes are swollen and my earring itch. That is always a sign I am fighting something.
~ Two other co-workers had the mystery blisters either inside their mouth or on their lips.
~ I am grossed out and have a doctors appointment on Friday.
~ I allowed the twins to have two of their friends come over on Spring break while I was at work. They called and asked if it was ok. I said, "Yes". I then took my lunch break at a weird time and came home to do a surprise parental check. All was well.
~ I pulled around the corner after work and saw Mark walking his buddy home. His buddy was hunched over and walking slow.
~ He was not one of the ones the twins had asked to have over.
~ About an hour later, this buddy's father called one of the friends cell phone looking asking for JA and I. He wanted to know if we were home. The friend gave the cell phone to Mark who confirmed I was home.
~ Mark then hung up and told me about the call. Sensing something was wrong, I had Mark dial the dad back and asked to talk to the father.
~ His son, the one I saw walking with Mark, was home, in bed passed out and reeking of booze. His sister said he told her he was coming here. That was at 3:30. The boys said he was here at 4:15, could not stand up and immediately said, "I have to puke" and then vomited in our bathroom for 45 minutes while they kept checking on him.
~ The remaining four boys here were alert, talkative and there was no indication at all there was any booze here or any taken from our home. They were all interrupting each other and trying to tell me what happened. A talk later with their parents confirmed the exact same story. (and we were told how they trust our boys) He showed up 45 minutes after he left his house (it is a five minute walk if you are lazy) and said nothing but he needed to puke and use the bathroom and wanted a glass of water and then wanted to go home. All said in question form. That is when I saw Mark walking him. I should have paid more attention but I was watching Mark thinking, "That kid always has to ride that damn skateboard everywhere."
~ His father is besides himself. He even apologized for calling saying he did not know what to do or even what to say other then he knew his son had last been at our house. He didn't even have anything from his son who was too sick to talk. (I would have taken him to the ER) I called him back a few minutes later with a few things I had heard. He will call me when his son sobers up.
I feel sick myself and no one is allowed over here while we are not home. Even the ones I trust the most. This boy was one of them and the last one I ever would expect this from.
We will see how it turns out.
